We Collect I.T. Ltd offer a number of methods when destroying the data on your device, depending on what your requirements are.
These include complete destruction of the drive (using a degausser or shredder) or alternatively securely wiping the data in order for the disk to be reused.
Each process involves a secure collection, using We Collect I.T. vetted staff, in our own satellite tracked vehicles
Then, once the device enters our premises, it is entered into our system and the hard drive is destroyed. We then issue a certificate of destruction which details individual serial numbers and manufacturer details if required. The destroyed data storage media are then recycled to recover the materials that they are made from.
We Collect I.T. Limited hold all the licenses required for your data destruction needs including ISO 27001:2013 to handle data to Government and Military standard.
Data destruction is also covered by our Brand Protection guarantee, ensuring that no Branded evidence of any kind will re-enter the public domain.
